We all love to tell our story and leave our mark on the world. Some of us are doing it daily! Whether or not we realize it, we are “telling our story” through Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, blogs, scrapbooks, journals and in other cool ways.  

Technology has made it super convenient to share what’s going on in our lives instantly with others. 

Cell phones have made it simple to create awesome photos at the click of a button! 

 

But what about that VIDEO button?? Are you using that one too? 

They say a picture is worth a thousand words, and if that’s the case…. What’s a video worth!? So….why aren’t you creating more videos and home movies? 

It's not as complicated as you might think!

Who is this class for?

 

This class is for Photographers, Bloggers, Moms, Grandmas, Teenagers, Etsy Shop Owners, Family Historians and anyone else who wants to learn how to create a video that people will want to watch. Whether you're telling your story for your family history or your business, this class will help you tell your story in a more compelling way. You'll be able to create better instagram videos, youtube videos, personal videos, and business videos. Learning how to tell your story through video is priceless.

 

What will you need for this class?

1. A phone or camera that shoots video 

2. iMovie (desktop version or phone app) or some other editing software (I will be using Imovie in the class.)

What will be covered in this class?

 

The class consists of 8 PDF lessons and 1 video of me going over some features in the iMovie app and 1 video of me going over some features in the iMovie desktop version. This class is about creativity and HOW to create a video people will want to watch. I do NOT focus on technical dslr camera information. For this class you are welcome to shoot with your dslr camera if you are familiar with it, but all you really need is your phone or point and shoot camera. It's awesome what you can do with very little equipment!

How does this online class work?

 

Each student in the class will be invited to a private facebook group where I will be answering any questions students have throughout our class time.  I will be sending out lessons daily. Each lesson includes an assignment for you to work on. Taking the online version of my class allows you to be able to interect with me and the other students. You'll be able to share your assignments and videos with your classmates and also be able to see what your classmates are working on. Being a part of a class definately helps you feel more accountable for the assignments given.

 

When is the home study class offered?

 

The home study version of the class is available for purchase at any time. If you prefer to study alone and want to go at your own pace, the home study version of my class is a great option. The 8 PDF lessons and 2 videos going over some of the features in the iMovie editing software and the iMovie app will be emailed to you within 48 hours.
